My name is Lydia, but those I love most refer to me as Lyd, so I tend to call myself by that nickname. I do not begin to claim that I have it figured out, but I sure do have a heart for people.
I got married young, at twenty-one. (The second person I know from my high school class to tie the knot).
I had my first baby young. Just two years into marriage.
And I just recently learned I'm going to have two babies young! We're expecting this upcoming January, (2020).
I'm in school full-time. I get the opportunity to serve my dream job part-time and stay at home with my babe part-time.
My biggest joys in life
I married my cutie husband, Zach, in 2016. We're nine years apart which is a great conversation starter if you want to make people super concerned for you. Ha! He works as an environmental engineer, (this means I have no idea what he's talking about professionally most of the time). We had our first babe in October of last year, (2018).
His name is Hosea and oh my gosh he has wrecked us forever. I love him so much I could die.
In May, we found out we are pregnant with a GIRL. My littlest mermaid!!! I'm seriously swooning.
I get work as an events coordinator at the most incredible church in the world right here in Birmingham, Alabama. It's a joy to serve this beautiful state and I sure do love what I get to do.
