Best. Planner. EVER.

I'm obsessed with my planner. It's okay. I've come to terms with it.

After trying my hand at a number of beautiful and fun brands, (Kate Spade, Rifle Paper Co and ban.do), I have finally found the one that my heart truly has longed for.

DayDesigner specializes in intentional planning for your daily life. Their clean design is easy to navigate and stirs every part of my planning-loving heart.

I'm their biggest fan and there are so many reasons why.

Beautiful Design

Every cover page of a DayDesigner planner is gorgeous. Some are funky and some are simple, but all are beautiful.

The layout is easy to navigate. The font is classic. The color palette will make you swoon... every aspect of their planners are thought through and it serves you well as you work on designing your days.

Guides You Towards Intentional Living

The first four pages of your DayDesigner are all about helping you identify your goals, your dreams and how you can design your days to propel you towards these.

Here's the layout for step #2 in your journey towards intentional living. The Goal Setting page is an excellent way to articulate your goals for your day-to-day and long-term self so that, when you get to your planning pages, you're designing them with your ultimate goals in mind.

Designing Your Days

This is my most-favorite aspect of the planner... the monthly and daily planning pages, *heart eyes*.

The monthly page is spacious. I personalize my monthly planning page with washi tape to add an extra essence of yasssss.

DayDesigner also dedicates pages to each day of the year. I love the idea of having 365 pages for me to layout my days on.

Each Daily Planning Page has three primary sections: one with an hourly chart for you to identify your schedule, one for a "to-do" list and one for note taking.

The rest of the page consists of smaller sections to emphasize making your day as productive and intentional as possible. The "Today's Top Three" section is used to identify the items on your to-do list that absolutely must be accomplished that day. I use the "Tonight" section to help to meal plan; however, it can also be used to briefly describe the plans made after 8:00pm. And, lastly, "Gratitude." I love the heart behind this tiny little section. It helps ground me in my day. It melts bitterness or stress. It gives me the opportunity to identify how blessed I am and make a decision to live out my day with gratitude and joy.

My planner is the DayDesigner/Blue Sky collaboration you can find at Target. There are several different planning styles you can choose from. Some planners contain weekly layouts and some are monthly calendars. While I love daily planning, it's not for everyone. I've used the weekly planner by DayDesigner and it's just as fantastic.

I've purchased both the Blue Sky collaboration and the original DayDesigner from their website. They're nearly identical, but the online version has a much nicer overall design, (hardcover, metal corners, more space for planning). It retails for $50 plus S&H. The BlueSky rendition is slightly larger and has a plastic cover. It retails for $20 at Target.

I love them both and I think you need one of your own. ;)

All my planning love, Lyd
